ForgeEdge (forgeedge.co.uk) is a market-intelligence platform operated in the United Kingdom. This policy covers the website and the installable ForgeEdge app (which is the same website, packaged).
Members: if you subscribe, we store your email address, your subscription tier and status, and a securely hashed password (we never store or see the password itself). Payments are processed entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to payment data.
Fingerprint / passkey login: if you enable it, your device creates a cryptographic key pair. Your biometric data (fingerprint, face) never leaves your device and is never sent to us. We store only the public key and a credential identifier, which cannot be used to reconstruct any biometric.
Price alerts: if you set an alert, we store the email you provide, the instrument, and the price level, solely to send that one alert email when it triggers.
Visitor analytics: we keep simple, self-hosted visit counts (pages viewed, timestamps, coarse technical info). We use no advertising trackers, no third-party analytics, and no ad networks. We do not sell or share personal data with anyone.
Device storage: the app stores your login session and preferences in your own browser's local storage so you stay signed in. This data stays on your device.
Transactional only: welcome/password emails for members, alert notifications you asked for, and (if you opt in) the weekly Monday Close briefing. No marketing lists, no third-party mailers.
Member records are kept while your membership is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for accounting. Fired alerts are pruned routinely. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see below).
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, or object to its processing, by emailing hello@forgeedge.co.uk. We respond within one month.
All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are stored hashed. Sensitive data files are locked to server-only access. Forecast records in our Accountability Ledger are locked at creation and cannot be edited — by anyone, including us.
ForgeEdge is not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
