About ForgeEdge
ForgeEdge publishes market forecasts three times a day for around 300 markets – metals, energy, currencies, indices, shares, funds and crypto – and keeps every forecast on a public record.
What it does
At 16:02, 20:02 and 23:45 UK, the ForgeEdge Director publishes a forecast for every market: which way it expects the next session to go, how strongly it leans (out of 100), and its forecast of the session's open, high, low and close.
The Director reads the news through the day, the prices, and the wider picture – interest rates, the dollar, positioning by large traders and the crowd, physical metal, crops and energy stocks – and explains every call in plain words on its card.
Beside it, the ForgeEdge Band forecasts a price range the close should land inside 80% of the time, with a record of its own.
Why the record is public
Most forecasts online cannot be checked. ForgeEdge is built the other way round:
- Every forecast is locked on the server before its session begins and cannot be edited afterwards.
- After the close, the server scores it against the licensed closing price – right or wrong.
- Misses stay on the record. Nothing is deleted, and each improvement to the Director is released as a named version so its results can be compared.
Who runs it
ForgeEdge is an independent project founded and run by José, a UK-based trader who trades these markets himself every day. It is built to be the forecasting tool he wanted and could not find: one that shows its working and its record.
Important
ForgeEdge publishes market forecasts for information and education. It is not financial advice, not a personal recommendation, and not an offer to buy or sell anything. Markets are risky and past results do not guarantee future ones. Trading with leverage, such as spread betting and CFDs, can lose you more than you put in. Make your own decisions, and seek independent advice if you need it.
